Local Business Support the Christmas Pageant

Above: Zoe Barker, Manager Tory Annese and Olivia Demarco of Woolworths Port Pirie are proud to support the Port Pirie Christmas Pageant.

In the spirit of supporting their local community and the spirit of Christmas Woolworths Port Pirie have donated $500 to the Port Pirie Christmas Pageant. The committee are very grateful for this donation from Tory Annese and it has directly help us further advertise the Christmas Pageant and Christmas in the Park to our region.

The Portside Tavern have also very generously donated $500 to the Port Pirie Christmas Pageant earlier in the year and that helped enable us to spruce up Santa’s sleigh. The new look sleigh will make its appearance at this year’s pageant and committee members under the guidance of our Treasurer Jacy Kemp have invested many days cleaning, painting and crafting the new look sleigh, Santa will be happy! So thank you to Brad Perks and Jeanette Wilson for your kind donation and for also supporting our Spruce up the Sleigh raffle and Christmas in July event at Caffe Primo.

It’s so great to see our local businesses get behind the Christmas Pageant and Christmas in the Park, which is so loved by the children, families and people of Port Pirie.

We also acknowledge and are grateful to the valued major sponsors of the Port Pirie Christmas Pageant – The Port Pirie Regional Council, Nyrstar, The Recorder, Radio Magic FM 105.9 and Flinders Port Holdings.

The Pageant committee are getting a little bit excited with only 9 sleeps to go until Saturday 2nd December! We’re hoping for the weather to clear and for lovely Spring weather! The Christmas Pageant will commence at 7pm and Christmas in the Park from 5.30pm til 10pm. Hope to see you there! Be part of the magic!
